THIS time of year many of us struggle to keep up with the moisture build-up that floods our homes.

More often than not this issue presents itself as condensation on our windows or mould in surrounding areas.

But this problem can be easily fixed if you have the right gadget.

Aldi has released an ‘amazing’ new electric cleaning tool that can help you swipe away any condensation in seconds.

Aldi’s Electric Window Cleaner £19.99 gets windows, mirrors and smooth surfaces gleaming within minutes thanks to its extra-wide rubber lip with an integrated suction nozzle.

It has up to 45 minutes of run time on its rechargeable battery and uses an LED light to indicate when your cleaner needs charging.

The Aldi electric window cleaner has been compared to Karcher’s window vacuum which retailer for at least £40 in most stores.

Prices for the Karcher start at £44.99 on the Curry’s website but if you buy it direct from the Karcher site you will need to fork out at least £54.99.

If you’re looking to get the Aldi window cleaner you will need to head in-store but it will only be available from February 15.

You can use the Aldi store locator tool to find your nearest store.

It is always worth shopping around as you might be able to get a better deal elsewhere.

Argos has a Beldray Cordless window vacuum cleaner for £40.

If you’re working with a budget B&M has an Addis Window Vacuum for £20 although you will need to act fast the B&M site says this product is low in stock.

We’ve tetsed a range of different vacuum cleaners – take a look and see which one might work for you.

Another option for getting rid of condensation and mould is a dehumidifier.

These work by work by sucking extra moisture out of the air some are eclectic so will cost you to run but others won’t.

Tesco has got one for £1 and customers are loving them.

Lidl has a great dehumidifier that’s going for £44.99 and it can help fight mould and condensation

In extreme cases of damp and mould, it’s best to keep the windows open to allow airflow, consider using an anti-mould treatment to tackle the problem.

You can seek out an expert and if you are renting speak to your landlord about fixing the issue.
