Aldi has been offering a range of attractive deals this summer including discounts on paddling pools and gazebos.

The offers are part of its Specialbuy range, which includes discounted products that are released in-store and online every Sunday and Thursday.

You may have to act fast though as items such as its popular hanging egg-chair have sold out in minutes.

The Aldi outdoor seating set is one of the latest additions to its Specialbuy range.

It comes with four chairs, a dining table and a parasol so you are prepared for sun and rain during the unpredictable British summer.

The chairs measure 90cm in height and 72cm in width.

They contain a polyester material so you can be comfortable while basking in the sunshine.

The steel table has a glass top and measures 90cm by 70 cm.

Shoppers also get an umbrella which has a diameter of two metres when open.

The set can only be purchased online through the Aldi website.

Delivery costs £9.95 and takes two to seven working days.

It will be delivered flat-packed so you will have to use your DIY skills to build the chairs and table yourself.

You can return the item for free within 60 days if you are unhappy with it as long as you have the original packaging and it is still in a good condition.

The set weighs 30.9kg and Aldi lets customers return products in-store that weigh under 50kg.

Find your nearest Aldi using its online store finder or you can arrange a home collection by contacting customer services.

The product also comes with a three-year warranty.

This set works out cheaper than similar offers from some of Aldi’s online rivals.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

House of Fraser has a six-piece patio furniture set for £20 more at £149.99.

You can get it delivered or use its online locator and arrange a click and collect in one of its stores for £4.99.

Sports Direct is also selling a six-piece garden set online for £149.99 and delivery will cost you £9.99.

Argos has a six-seater metal garden patio set for £200.

You can pick it up from a local store for free or delivery is £3.95.

Find your local Argos using its online store locator.

There are plenty of other supermarket deals. Tesco is selling an inflatable three-seater sofa bed for £50.

If you’re still on the hunt for an egg chair, Homebase has slashed the price of its one by £130 and it’s cheaper than Argos and Robert Dyas
