ANOTHER popular Aldi Specialbuy has hit the shelves in time for the heatwave expected next month.
Alfresco fans will be able to serve up a storm from their own garden with Aldi’s Gardenline gas pizza oven.
Aldi Specialbuys are limited items such as DIY tools, BBQs, and sports goods.
They can usually be spotted and purchased both in store and online, with new arrivals to the collection every Thursday and Sunday.
But once they’re gone, they’re gone for good – and this goes for the Gardenline gas pizza oven too.
Priced at £199.99, Aldi’s pizza oven comes in much cheaper than other brands which can cost thousands of pounds.
Aldi told The Sun that this item is only available to buy online.
So shoppers should also consider the home delivery cost of £3.95, like with other large items from Aldi.
It features a black steel design with two heat settings, easy glide wheels and a heat-guarded handle to make it conveniently movable.
The item also comes with a pizza stone, and buying this separately could cost an extra £15 on average.
The stone allows pizza to be placed in and out of the oven – and you can also eat of off it for an authentic Italian experience.
Aldi has restricted orders to one item per person to ensure plenty of people get the opportunity to purchase it for themselves.
Like with many of Aldi’s Specialbuy items, the Gardenline pizza oven comes with a three year warranty should you have any issues with it.
Please note that pizza ovens are not to be used in doors or in confined spaces, so make sure you have the room for this item.
Due to the much higher costs of other brands, it wouldn’t be surprising if this pizza oven was around for very long.
But you should always shop around before purchasing to make sure you’re getting the best price available.
We found a similar Ooni Karu 12 multi-fuel pizza oven at Lakeland, but for £100 more.
Aldi has likened its version of the cooking equipment to the Lifestyle Verona Deluxe gas pizza oven priced at £799 – meaning budget supermarket shoppers would be saving £599.01.
Unless you were planning to buy a similar item before this offer came about, you should refrain from the temptation of this deal to avoid losing money.
This isn’t the first time Aldi has sold pizza ovens, though the price tags have varied in previous years.
In 2020, Aldi sold a £500 stainless steel pizza oven, but just last year in 2021 it sold a £40 pizza oven too.
Aldi is also selling a Big Green Egg ceramic BBQ dupe that’s £895 cheaper than the real thing.
And Aldi’s previously sold-out garden rattan corner sofa made a return a couple of days ago – meaning shoppers have to be quick to get their hands on it.
But B&M also has a similar version that’s £350.
