ALDI has slashed its popular air fryer to just £15 and shoppers have been delighted to snap up the Specialbuy for a bargain price.

Regularly the 2.5 litre kitchen gadget costs £29.99 but one shopper shared how she managed to snap up the deal for half that.

Aldi’s Ambiano compact air fryer comes in a sleek black or white style and it’s perfect for health-conscious foodies.

It’s got seven automatic cooking programmes and an LED digital touch screen display to make it even easier to handle.

The handy kitchen gadget can reach a temperature of 200°C and it’s got a 30-minute timer too, so you know when your food is cooked to perfection.

Plus, the coated frying basket is non-stick, which should mean little to no mess cleaning up after dinner.

On Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper boasted her impressive find when she managed to score the nifty cooking tool for just £14.99.

Online the air fryer is still £30 to buy, but they had managed to snap it up at a special price by shopping in-store.

The air fryer had been bought at one of the Aldi’s newest branches in Truro – which opened just five days ago.

Aldi can discount a number of its Specialbuy products on opening day and in the days following the launch of a new site, to help entice new customers in.

Online Aldi says shoppers should “be there from 8am to take advantage of amazing Specialbuy offers.”

We’ve asked the store if the discount is more widespread, giving more shoppers the chance to cash-in on the reduced price, and will update this story once we know more.

Meanwhile, under the post other shoppers marvelled at the budget find.

“Bargain,” one said.

“I already have an air fryer and a slow cooker, but that’s a good price – I paid around £80,” said another.

The only catch is that the discount prices that come hand in hand with new store openings won’t stick around for long, so if you want to catch the bargain at a similar price, you’ll have to be quick.

You also might want to call ahead to your local store to check if the discount is applied, to avoid disappointment.

And before you commit to a purchase, you should have a shop around.

Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.

You might find there’s an even better offer out there.
