Man, 28, charged after pregnant woman, 29, was stabbed in south Wales village on Tuesday

A 28-year-old man has been charged with the attempted murder of a pregnant woman who was stabbed in a street in the village of Aberfan in south Wales.

The incident on Tuesday morning led to a search by armed officers, and two schools and a childcare centre were put into lockdown.
