TANGO is bringing out a third new fizzy drink flavour just days after ice blast favourites will hit shelves.

Britvic is launching a new flavoured Tango Mango and it’s hitting shelves and chillers this month.

Tango Mango hits shelves this month

Succeeding Tango’s popular Paradise Punch flavour, this latest rotation is set to meet the demand for Mango flavoured drinks, giving shoppers more sugar-free options without compromising on taste.

Available from 1 February for 12 months, the fruit-flavoured fizzy drink is available to enjoy in formats to be consumed at home or on the go.

The flavour will be available in a variety of formats – 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, 2-litre bottles, 8-can multipacks and 24-can multipacks.

Shoppers have already taken to Facebook after spotting the 2-litre bottles in Asda this weekend.

One Tango fan said: “Mango Tango? Love the rhyme!”

Another said: “This is a bit of me.”

“It’s gorgeous,” said a third shopper.

Britvic has listed its manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MRSP) for each format.

It advises retailers to sell single 330ml can for 80p each and 500ml bottles for £1.99.

It recommends 2-litre bottles are sold at £3.19 and 8-can multipacks at £5.29.

Multipacks containing 24-cans have an MRSP of £12.49.

It’s up to individual retailers to pick their pricing so you might find that you’ll get the product cheaper or more expensive depending on what retailer you visit.

Ben Parker, retail commercial director for Great Britain at Britvic, said: “Our next big flavour launch, Tango Mango, drives appeal among new and existing Tango fans, generating additional sales opportunities for retailers.

“We understand retailers don’t have infinite space for new products, but the Tango Editions range has already proven to drive additional sales, and the rotational change seasonally maintains excitement and engagement with the brand.

“In addition, Tango Mango aims to attract a broader range of shoppers, including Gen Z and families, expanding sales opportunities for retailers.

“Innovating in the fruit-flavoured carbonates category will always be important to Tango – with new and exciting sugar-free flavours, which play on the brand’s bold, fun tone and personality, helping to increase consumer purchases.”

It comes just days after Britvic announced that Tango is set to release Raspberry Blast and Cherry Blast flavours.

These two flavours are widely known as the combination used in the Ice Blast slushies we see on offer in cinemas across the country.

Fans of the new flavours have been left ecstatic after hearing the news.

Tango changed its recipe for its iconic Organce-flavoured soda in 2019.

Fans can also get an alcoholic Tango Ice Blast cocktail, but it’s only available in one British bar.

Vimto Discovery Zero is also set to release new flavours with a passionfruit and lychee, and a mango and dragon fruit flavour.

Meanwhile, Marks and Spencer has released its own soda brand with retro styling on the can and retro flavours like cream soda.
