A viral TikTok video has revealed a few simple steps you can take to try and boost iPhone battery performance.

Life hack TikTok creator @kaansanity posted the popular video.
He said: “This is how to extend your phone’s battery life.”
You will need to head to Settings, click General and then click Background App Refresh.
The TikTok said: “In General, turn off Background App Refresh.
“And in Motion, turn on Reduce Motion and turn off these two.”
By these two, the TikToker is referring to turning off the toggles next to Auto-Play Message Effects and Auto-Play Video Previews.”
You can find the Motion menu under the Accessibility section in your iPhone Settings.
Next, @kaansanity says you should go to your System Services.
To find this section, go to Settings, then Privacy, click on Location Services and the scroll all the way down to System Services.
The TikTokers says you should turn off Location Based Apple Ads, if you have that option.
He also says to turn off the toggles next to iPhone Analytics, Routing & Traffic and Improve Maps.
The life hack guru claims: “Your battery will last so much longer.”
