A STUNNING studio flat has gone on the market for £1,200 a month – and there’s an huge surprise awaiting the new tenant.

The home in Brixton Hill is surprisingly spacious for a London pad, but that won’t be the only reason would-be residents will be queuing up to view it.

A London apartment boasts an amazing surprise for the new tenant – a 25-metre private pool

Amazingly, the property has a 25-metre swimming pool right outside the front door.

And it’s believed to be one of fewer than 130 private pools in the capital.

An ad for the home on Gumtree reveals the tenant will have “exclusive residents’-only access to an open-air swimming pool, which is beautifully lit in the evening”.

However, even those who don’t like taking a dip will find much to like.

The top floor apartment, which lies in a gated development, has access to a communal roof terrace.

Inside the studio, viewers will find a living space divided between a reception room and a bedroom.

A doorway near the bed leads through into fitted kitchen, while another door will take visitors into an en suite bathroom.

The owner has furnished the flat with quirky vintage-style posters, a full-length mirror and a shelving unit displaying a terrarium and a typewriter.

Brixton Tube station is a ten-minute bus ride away from the flats, and both heating and hot water are included in the price.

The owner called the block “unique and stunning”.

Many other properties at a similar price point offer slightly less bang for a renter’s buck.

A studio in trendy East London is marketed at £1,100 a month – but the new tenant will have to sleep in a bizarre plywood box suspended close to the ceiling.

The alarming sleeping arrangement means the occupant must climb a builder’s ladder through a tiny gap to get some shut-eye.

GOING SWIMMINGLY

Elsewhere, a property in Notting Hill is on the market for a little under £800 a month – but it’s missing one essential feature.

While the studio offers a shower, there’s no toilet to be found.

The situation is must brighter for those with plenty of cash.

Those with £4million to spare are invited to view a spectacular ‘hidden house’ a stone’s throw from Notting Hill Gate Tube station.

The amazing property is completely invisible from the street.

But once the lucky new owner makes their way to a secret door, they’ll find a whopping five-bed home spread over 3,000 square feet.
