A no-frills storage company backed by easyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou is planning to double in size – and may float.
Founded in 2017 by industry veteran Tim Slesinger who pays to use the ‘easy’ brand, easyStorage will double its number of warehouses from 19 to 40 by the end of next year.

Haji-Ioannou’s easyGroup receives fees from firms using the distinctive orange brand, including easyJet.
Claiming to be 50 per cent cheaper than its rivals, easyStorage collects and stores customers’ possessions, keeping them in ‘pods’ in warehouses that tend to be outside city centres.
Two days’ notice is required from clients before accessing goods. Slesinger said more people are using it for decluttering homes, as well as ‘divorce and relocation’.
He added: ‘It’s got great potential for an IPO, but there are lots of other options too.’
It recently raised £3million and brought in Charles Skinner, former boss of office services group Restore as its chairman. The business plans to open franchises in Europe from next year.
