You need to enter card details or use Apple Pay, Android Pay or Samsung Pay – the built in digital wallets on phones.

McDonald’s has now reopened for walk-in takeaways after revealing it would be stopping the service at the start of the third national lockdown.

It started offering the service once again from February 22 onwards.

The chain said it took the decision to close for takeaway while it reviews extra safety measures to keep workers and customers safe.

However, you’ll have to follow certain rules when heading to your local branch for your snack.

You won’t be allowed to eat your meal inside the restaurant under Covid rules, and you’ll have to wear a mask.

Customers will be encouraged to sanitise their hands before entering the restaurant, and to follow the one-way signs in branches.
