Lord Rose has ploughed a chunk of his wealth into high-tech wealth manager Netwealth.
The ex-chairman of Marks & Spencer joined Edward Bonham Carter, the former Jupiter chief executive and brother of actress Helena, ex-Prudential chairman Harvey McGrath and Lloyds of London chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown in helping the business to raise £11.3m.

Michael Spencer, founder of the broker ICAP, also invested £5m on top of the £5m he put in two years ago.
Netwealth, set up in 2016, was founded by ex-Goldman Sachs partner Charlotte Ransom.
