Another shopper said their local Aldi was also selling similar mayo sauces for reduced prices.

The customer said: “They had the mayo local to me the other day!. But we’re giving it away free!. I don’t know why when they had long dates.”

Other supermarket giants offering cheap prices include Morrisons – which is selling tomato ketchup tubs for 79p.

People can also snap up cheap ones for only 70p at Sainsbury’s.

Aldi’s middle aisle is where you’ll find Specialbuys and when they are gone, they’re gone.

The discount supermarket is well known for selling a range of household goods at bargain prices.

But it can offer the cheap prices because they’re not stocked all the time.

New Specialbuys come into stores every Thursday and Sunday, and you can’t buy them online.

You can find your local store by using the store locator tool on the Aldi website.

But remember even if you see a great offer it is always worth shopping around before you buy to make sure you are getting the cheapest deal.

It comes as money-savers went wild after the supermarket giant slashed the price of its own brand of chopped tomatoes.

A bargain hunter took to TikTok to share the incredible find to thousands of fellow shoppers.

The content creator said: “Chopped tomatoes for only 20p! I bought seven for £1.40. Stock up.”
