Walkers Cheese Mixups have been discontinued

The disappointing axe comes after Walkers already told fans they were stopping production of salt and vinegar Quavers, Walkers Max Flamin’ Hot, the Peking Spare Rib oriental crackers, Worcester Sauce crisps, and Regal Mint & Lamb Sensations.

In the latest blow, Cheese Mixups have disappeared from shop shelves.

The mashup bag included Tangy Cheese Doritos, Cheese and Onion French Fries, Cheese Bugles, and Wotsits.

The heartbreaking news for crisp fans came to light on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One consumer asked the Walkers account: “Have u stopped making the cheese mix-ups?”

Walkers apologised and revealed they couldn’t be bought anymore.

They said: “We’re sorry to break it to you, we’re not making this flavour anymore.”

People flocked to say how much they loved the crisps.

One person said: “Those new walkers Cheese Mixups are unreal,” while another added: “I’m literally addicted to these.”

The crisp brand also revealed that it’s made a major change to the recipe of its Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations – and fans are not happy about it.

Crisps are not the only treat facing the chop either.

It comes after other companies decided to discontinue fan favourites.

Nestle decided to axe Drifter bars along with Caramac.

A Nestle spokesperson told The Sun: “We are very sorry to disappoint fans of Caramac. There has been a steady decline in its sales over the past few years and we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it.

“We know fans will be disappointed to see it go, but this change will enable us to focus on our best-performing brands, as well as develop exciting new innovations to delight our consumers’ tastebuds.”
