CHICKEN chain KFC has slashed the price of its six-piece family feast in half to just £6.99 – but you’ll need to be quick to get your hands on it.

Reduced from £13.99, the offer is only available from today until this Sunday, November 8.

The meal comes with six pieces of chicken, four regular fries, two large sides and a large bottle of drink.

Keep in mind the bargain deal is only available through the KFC app for takeaway or drive thru.

So if you don’t already have the free app, which is available for both iPhone and Android users, you’ll need to download it first.

To then get the discount, you’ll need to redeem the deal in the rewards and offers section on the KFC app before ordering for click and collect.

Alternatively, if you’re ordering in branch to take away, simply show the QR code to the cashier at the till.

KFC also offers delivery through Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, but you won’t be able to get the offer through the apps.

The Sun has asked the chicken chain whether customers can only get the deal once, so we’ll update this article once we hear back.

It’s also yet to confirm how many of its branches are open for takeaway and drive-thru.

All KFC branches in England have been forced to shut for table-service from today, November 5, due to a second national lockdown.

The family feast offer was shared by deal-sharing website Latestdeals.co.uk, and KFC fans are keen to snap it up.

One user said: “Yes nice one dinner sorted for tomorrow be rolling me out the house end of lockdown at this rate [sic].”

While another added yesterday: “Think I will be having an early tea tomorrow before it gets too busy and they run out. Thank you.”

Earlier this month, KFC launched four new tasty offers on its app, including two mini fillet burgers for just £2.

The chicken chain also brought back its popular Double Down burger – but it’s only available for a limited amount of time.

Plus, a KFC worker has divided fried chicken fans with how it makes its gravy.
