Soho House shares fell yesterday after its revenues missed Wall Street expectations.

The private members’ clubs group said its revenue increased 13 per cent to £247m in the three months to October 1.

But this fell short of the £251m estimated by analysts – causing shares to dip as much as 19 per cent.

The stock is still up more than 80 per cent this year but remains well below where it listed in New York in 2021.

Soho House & Company was launched in Soho, London, with its first venue opened on Greek Street in 1995 by Nick Jones, promising ‘a home away from home for creatives’. Jones stepped down as chief executive after 27 years in November last year.

Jones, who is married to Kirsty Young, the TV and radio presenter and former Desert Islands Discs host, made the decision as he was recovering from cancer.

Celebrities who frequent the clubs – which does not allow its members and their guests to take pictures indoors – include pop singer Rita Ora, presenter Fearne Cotton and model Kaia Jordan Gerber.

Soho House was also a destination of choice for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they first started dating in 2016.
