HOLLYWOOD stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are the secret stars of a Marks & Spencer Christmas TV advert.

Ryan voices a talking reindeer mitten in the big-money festive campaign, alongside his pal and Wrexham FC co-owner.

A source said: “Marks & Spencer have gone all-out. Ryan is a massive Hollywood star.

“Their advert includes Dawn French, who has continued her role as the Christmas tree fairy. It’s a huge coup for M&S.”

The yet-to-be-broadcast ad is just one part of the High Street giant’s campaign.

Its first advert was released — featuring actresses Hannah Waddingham and Zawe Ashton, Queer Eye’s Tan France and singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

They are seen tackling some of Christmas’s more annoying aspects — including an Elf on the Shelf and playing charades.

Ex-England footie star Peter Crouch and his wife Abbey Clancy have also been signed up for starring roles in the chain’s yuletide social media campaigns.

Deadpool star Ryan modelled M&S’s Autograph clothing range in 2011.
