Cutting down on central heating is one of the main ways to save money – but you don’t want to be left shivering as a result.

Thanks to M&S, Brits can snuggle up in front of their favourite festive movies and stay toasty for just £19.50 in the Teddy Fleece Hooded Blanket.

The Oodie dupe is a much cheaper alternative than the original – which is currently on the market for a whopping £49.

And, this is a heavily discounted price, slashed down from an eye-watering £89.

But, happy shoppers say M&S’ replica product is “just as good” as the Oodie.

It comes in a kids’ size, medium and large, so the whole family can enjoy them.

The fashion retailer also offers five colours, grey, pink, cream, navy and green.

On their website, the product description reads: “It’s made from soft and fluffy teddy fleece. The M&S Snuggle™ feels snug to touch and traps in body heat, allowing you to stay warm while turning down the heating.”

A “kangaroo pocket” also makes the perfect hand warmer, or a nifty place to slot a hot water bottle.

It has even been awarded the “Ultra Warmth Heat Rating”, thanks to fabric which boasts “enhances thermal performance”.

Impressed customers have flooded the cosy hoodie blanket with glowing reviews.

One penned: “After reading reviews I decided to buy this fleece blanket.

“So glad I did as it is so toasty and gives you the freedom to move from room to room without losing heat. Means I don’t need to have heating on unnecessarily.”

“In times when people are watching money on heating this has been amazing. It is so warm and cosy and has saved me using the heating so it has been worth every penny,” wrote another.

And someone else commented: “We haven’t bothered with the heating at all since myself and my wife got one each.”

This comes as other people have been sharing their home heating hacks to reduce money on energy bills.

Some have turned to this five star Amazon product– and it costs just £26.

Meanwhile, one woman revealed a genius “life hack” to help dry your clothes faster – without ever turning on the tumble dryer.

In a video posted to TikTok by @energysavinghacks, the savvy Brit shared her golden piece of advice.

“Grab your clothes airer, just a normal one, not a fancy heated one.

“And put it next to a radiator, and chuck a bed sheet over it.

“Tuck it in like a tent.

“So, whenever you have your heating on it’s going to dry your clothes for no extra cost.”
