Sure there are plenty of illegal options, but if you don’t want to get in trouble with the law, your best bet is legal apps.

Below, we have outlined three apps that actually allow users to watch popular content for free.

TUBI

Tubi is one of the most popular apps for free movies and TV shows.

It’s 100 percent legal because it comes with advertisements that you have to get through.

“You also get a variety of genres from a variety of places around the world,” Android Authority noted.

“It feels like a generally good all-in-one style streaming service, but that ultimately means it doesn’t reach into niches as well as some others.”

The app is available for download on the Google Play store and can be installed on your smart TV.

PLEX

Plex launched an on-demand video service with over 1,000 titles to choose from.

Your options range from Hollywood blockbusters to independent films, and more.

“There is some television, but not much, honestly,” Android Authority revealed.

“Still, the selection is above average for its segment. You simply create an account and start watching movies.”

Like Tubi, it does feature advertising, but they’re not too time-consuming.

PLUTO

Pluto TV is another great option for free movies, offering thousands of options to users.

“It works like most of the others. You watch ads and get video content in exchange,” Android Authority shared.

Pluto TV specifically has 17 curated movie stations for popular genres like romance, comedy, and drama.
