THOUSANDS of Hyperoptic broadband customers have been left without internet during a huge nationwide outage.
At around 3pm on Friday, 1,929 users of the internet provider experienced issues with their broadband connection, according to Downdetector.
The company wrote on Twitter: “Hi everyone, we are currently experiencing a severe outage affecting a number of different post codes, along with our website hosting servers.
“We are working on it as we speak, with more updates to follow.”
Hyperoptic has been contacted by The Sun for comment.

More than 3,000 reported problems with Hyperoptic
According to Downdetector, nearly 3,000 Hyperoptic customers are unable to use the internet.
Problems started at around 3pm on Friday.
