And professional pooper scoopers earn an average national salary of £24,000 ($30,000) which boils down to around £11.30 and hour, according to ZipRecruiter.

The pet waste removal industry is also expected to grow to to £4billion ($5billion) by next year so this may be a highly profitable venture.

The job entails being hired by pet owners, parks and other recreational departments to regularly clean up animal waste.

Starting up your own poop scooping business may also be a walk in the park to set up if you’re looking to venture into a new career where you can choose your own hours.

And MarketRealist created a simple step-by-step guide for those tempted to take up this little-known role.

They advise people to carry out the necessary area research to see where the highest level of interest is.

As well as this, deciding on the specific services you’re willing to provide and investing in quality equipment will set you up on the path to pooper scooping success.

They also urge potential scoopers to make sure they remember to register their business and obtain the required permits to ensure no bumps in the road.

When deciding how to get rid of the pet waste, some current pros have revealed that they double-bag the poop and to leave at the customers home or charge for the transportation of the animal waste to a third-party disposal site.

But if poop scooping isn’t for you, then you’ll be glad to hear about this little-known job that could see you earn up to £47,5000 a year – and you don’t even need a degree.

The career, which would see you dress up for children’s parties or tourist attractions, could earn you nearly £200 per day.
