VIRGIN Media has gone down for mobile and TV customers leaving them unable to make calls and texts.
The problems appear to have started after midday with more than 2,400 customers reporting issues on outage tracking website DownDetector.
Of those who are reporting issues, 48% are struggling with mobile internet, 42% with mobile phones and 9% are reporting TV problems.
Scores of customers have also complained about the problems, which appear to affect broadband users too, on Twitter.
One customer said: “It’d be nice if Virgin Media’s TV service would run for more than a minute before it cuts out.
“Been happening for about 3 hours now.”
While another added: “@virginmedia your broadband service has gone from being about the best to being about the worst.
“What’s gone wrong? #VirginMedia.”
And a third said: “@virginmedia broadband down yet again. Ability to report fault seems to have vanished from website now.
“Not that it ever had any effect anyway. I’ll await my ‘we’re sorry to hear this’ message followed by no action.”
The Sun has asked Virgin Media when the issues are expected to be fixed, and we’ll update this article once we hear back.
Virgin Media has a dedicated web page where you can find out if there are any problems in your area.

Virgin Media broadband went down for hundreds of customers on January 18 following an outage in Guildford, Surrey.
Almost 700 people were struggling to use the internet at its peak, according to outage tracker DownDetector, but the problem was fixed during the day.
Previously, the provider last experienced issues on August 13 after its network was hit by a series of outages.
