THIS is the tragic story of a EuroMillions couple who scooped £380 million before a shocking twist left them devastated.
Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Dundee, Scotland, raked in the whopping jackpot in 2012, but in the decade since their lives fell apart.
Gillian revealed that she wished she had never gone public after Adrian’s winning ticket struck gold in an exclusive interview with The Scottish Sun last year.
She explained that the whirlwind around the big win cost the couple their marriage, which fell apart within two years.
In a tragic twist, the pair separated just 15 months after being announced as winners, though Gillian has since found a new flame.
Reacting to the news that Gloucestershire couple Joe and Jess Thwaite had bagged a UK record £184 million prize, Gillian said: “I hope it brings them happiness and they enjoy it.

“I wish them good luck and I’d just advise them to be sensible. Just remember that some people do have ulterior motives.
“There are some words they’ll need to learn and they’ll find themselves using all the time like ‘No’.”
Despite their divorce, Gillian and Adrian split their winnings equally and Gillian moved from their Suffolk home back to Scotland.
She has since started her own property company and enjoys a glam lifestyle.

But her best pal claimed she was forced out of their business after the pair started a row over dogs.
Gillian was also accused of attacking her ‘gold digger’ ex but was cleared over lack of evidence.
She’s now married to convicted fraudster Brian Deans after a lavish ceremony in St Andrews, Fife.
At 48 she gave birth to a lockdown baby.
Meanwhile Adrian was unlucky in love following the split.
Adrian finally sold his mansion – where he was dumped four times- in 2021, making a loss.
However, the couple’s misery didn’t end their, as their son was left fighting for his life after a horror quad bike accident.
The Sun on Sunday revealed in September 2021 that 13-year-old Cameron had been hit by a car driven by his sister Amy, 15, in the ground of his dad’s lavish mansion while riding the machine.
A friend of Adrian’s said at the time: “Adrian just feels consumed with guilt.
“He allowed his son and daughter to go out around the estate on those vehicles.
“His daughter is too young to drive on a public road, but as it is a private estate she did not need a licence. The kids were on his watch as they were with him while their mum was in Scotland.

“The quad bike was bought by Adrian so he could get around the estate. It was one of the ‘boy’s toys’ he bought after his big win.”
Thankfully, Cameron is understood to have made a recovery from the accident after being taken out of an induced coma.
