QUALITY Street fans could find a surprise change to their tubs this Christmas, with two chocs affected.
A shortage of foil means that two popular sweets have been temporarily wrapped in different colours.

A limited run of Quality Street products including tubs, pouches and cartons will see the green triangle and orange crunch in different colour wrapping.
Some products will include the triangle wrapped in an unfamiliar gold colour, while the octagonal crunch choc will be decked in a dark bronze foil.
Nestle says the chocolates themselves have not changed and are identical in every way.
The rare packs were produced at Nestle’s Halifax factory, when it became clear that stocks of the foils would not last that week.

We have asked Nestle how many tubs and products will see the changes and will update this story when we hear back.
The chocolate brand made the decision to change the packaging rather than axe the sweets.
Quality Street’s senior brand manager Jemma Handley said: “I promise this isn’t a publicity stunt.
“We’ve not added full size chocolate bars to the tin or removed the coconut flavour from a handful of tubs.

“We simply didn’t have enough of the right coloured foil to cover the production run of the two sweets in question and, rather than leave them out of the selection altogether, we decided to use different colours for a very limited period.
“We are fairly sure this is the first time this has happened so anybody who finds a green triangle or an orange crunch in a different coloured foil will have something of rarity on their hands.
“I am pleased to say that it’s the same delicious hazelnut and orange sweets inside the wrappers, regardless of their colour.”
Production at the factory is now back to normal with green triangle and orange crunch restored to their usual colour of foils.
The packs with the substitute foil wrappers will land on shelves at retailers across the UK and Ireland over the next few weeks.
It is not the first change Quality Street has made this year.
Last month, Nestle announced Quality Street will axe its iconic brightly-coloured wrappers over 86 years since their release.
In a bid to become more environmentally-friendly, the treats are now being wrapped in a duller form of waxed paper, which is recyclable.
Only the two foil-covered sweets – the green triangle and orange crunch – will remain in their original packaging.
The new wrappers will be phased in until Christmas, and you may get a mix of old and new wrappers for now.
The sizes of tubs have shrunk from 650g in 2021 to 600g this year, while prices have stayed the same.
Another change is that the Honeycomb Crunch choc – which was axed in 2018 – is back.
The sweet will be available in 18 John Lewis pick ‘n’ mix stations nationwide – which allows shoppers to create their own Quality Street tins.
