IT’S one of the world’s biggest social media apps, boasting more than 300million users worldwide.
And while Snapchat is best-known as a place to share photos, videos and messages, it’s also got a handful of games that you can play.

What are Snap Games?
As the name suggests, Snap Games is a gaming platform that you can access through the Snapchat iOS and Android apps.
Titles available on the platform are simple and easy to play, taking the form of platformers, word games and more.
You can team up with your friends and play together or go it alone in single-player mode if you’d prefer.
The service launched in 2019 with six games for users to try out, although that list has since expanded to more than 20.
According to Snap, around 30million people use Snap Games every month.
It’s been touted by the company as a different way to “hang out with your friends on Snapchat”.
How do they work?
To play a game on Snapchat, open the app and then open a chat or group chat.
Tap the rocket icon to the right of the text box to open Game Drawer. This will send a notification to your friend(s).

Select the game you wish to play and then select a display name that will show during your session.
To play something in single-player mode, open the Snapchat app and tap the magnifier icon in the top-left of your display.
Under the search box that opens, you will see a “Games and Minis” bar. Tap on a game to launch it.
What games can you play today?
Snapchat has more than 20 games for you to try.
Among the most popular is Bitmoji Party, in which you play as your Bitmoji character with friends.
A game master is selected at the beginning of each game, whose goal is to make the other players lose.
You can play Bitmoji Party with up to eight friends.
Other popular titles include:

- CATS Drift Racing: A multiplayer racing game
- Snake Squad: A version of the classic game Snake
- Tiny Royale: A battle royale game
- Zombie Rescue Squad: Battle zombie hoardes with friends

- Super Snappy Bowling: A 1v1 multiplayer bowling game
