RAPPER 50 Cent has teased a potential involvement in an upcoming project featuring the iconic Vice City from the GTA games.

Curtis Jackson, who is better known as 50 Cent, posted on Wednesday a picture of the Vice City logo on his Instagram account.

The post under the image reads, “I will Explain this later, GLG GreenLightGang this sh*t bigger than POWER trust me. BOOM”

50 Cent is referring to his crime drama TV series Power, which aired between 2014 and 2020 on paid cable network Starz.

Power was a big hit in the US and elsewhere and was followed by three spin-off series which are still running on Starz today and are available on Netflix in the UK and Ireland.

50 Cent was the executive producer of the show and also played a role in all of its seasons and in one of the spin-offs focused on his character.

Given that show’s significant success and 50 Cent’s involvement in it, him saying that something “bigger” is in the works had fans speculating that a GTA TV series based in Vice City could be coming.

GTA developers Rockstar have previously turned down an offer to make a GTA-based movie starring rapper Eminem.

Nevertheless, the success of projects like HBO’s The Last of Us could have changed their mind.

Another possibility is that 50 Cent could be involved in the upcoming GTA 6 game, which is expected to be set in a modern version of Vice City.

Until 50 Cent or Rockstar give more information, the nature of this upcoming collaboration is anyone’s guess.

Hopefully, we’ll get details or an official announcement sooner rather than “later,” as 50 Cent wrote in his post.

Meanwhile, the only thing we know for sure is that development on GTA 6 is “well under way.”
