It’s no surprise that this 32-inch set from JVC’s LT-CF600 has made an appearance in Amazon’s October Prime Day sales.

The budget-friendly range, after all, has Amazon stamped all over it: the Fire TV smart platform was developed by the retail giant.

Much like Amazon’s wider range of affordable smart speakers, tablets, cameras and doorbells, the JVC Fire TV range is aimed at a budget-conscious audience that doesn’t have a few spare grand lying around in their wallets (who does right now?).

Now at the obscenely good price of £145, this cheap-as-chips smart TV is a superb choice for anybody looking for a modest-sized telly that sets them up with instant access to Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video (of course) without having to faff around with a Fire TV Stick.

(That said, if you do have an older TV that you want to set up from streaming, Amazon’s entire range of streaming sticks are on sale right now and start at just £19.99.)

This TV deal is one of thousands of price drops we’ve seen appear on Amazon today, and will run for 48-hours in a surprise second Prime Day sale.

Okay, Amazon has technically billed it as a Prime Early Access Sale – but since all these discounts are exclusively available to Prime members, it’s really one and the same as the July mega-sale.

If we’re being honest, we found it surprising that Amazon would schedule in a big sale when the madness of Black Friday is just around the corner.

But whatever the reasons the brand had to drop a second Prime Day just six weeks before the biggest sale of the year, it’s definitely a great time to spend on Amazon’s home-grown tech.

We’ve seen an array of mightily impressive Amazon device deals, and ultimately, that includes the LT-32CF600… well, kind of.

Between that slick Fire TV streaming platform and the stylish, almost bezel-free display, this is a television that frankly looks far more expensive than it is.

It may fall even further in price when Black Friday comes around, but our guess? It won’t: £145 is already a fantastic asking price.

Just remember to sign up to Amazon Prime if you haven’t already (even if it’s just to use that handy 30-day free trial).
