Imposing wood doors open to an entry vestibule with Arts-and-Crafts-style floor tile. The ornate foyer is behind a second set of doors. To the immediate left is a parlor with pale pink walls, gold-painted plaster accents and a painted ceiling that was reconstructed based on images of the original. On one side of the room, a door opens to a billiards room with a grand fireplace and Bradbury & Bradbury wallpaper.

The formal dining room is beyond the living room, with original hardwood floors that have an intricate inlay pattern. Two swinging doors lead to a butler’s pantry, which has a sink and original built-in cabinetry. The kitchen, which connects to the pantry, has an original tin ceiling, an antique black enamel stove and cherry-and-maple floors laid out in a striped pattern.

Across from the parlor is a study with mahogany coffered ceilings and a fireplace framed in glossy green tile. A powder room with a brass-legged sink is tucked underneath the sweeping walnut staircase.

At the top of the stairs is a bedroom with an attached bathroom and more Bradbury & Bradbury wallpaper; next door is a bedroom with a marble fireplace and hand-painted wallpaper that resembles wainscoting.

At the end of the hall is the primary suite, which has a marble fireplace with a Minton-tile hearth and a bathroom with heated tile floors and a claw-foot tub. Across the hall is another suite with a bedroom, a separate sitting room and a full bathroom.

Three more guest rooms are on the third floor, along with a full bathroom and a laundry room.

Outdoor space: An enclosed porch with tile floors and enough space for entertaining is off the foyer. The open front porch was also designed for entertaining, with shade from the sun and flowering planters hanging from the ceiling. Thick groves of mature trees surround the house, and the driveway holds at least five cars.

Taxes: $27,828 (estimated)
