Zoom is launching a raft of measures to lock in UK business customers as staff begin to head back into the office, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
The video conferencing specialist has seen a wave of new customers, but analysts question whether its popularity can be maintained in countries coming out of lockdown.
Magnus Falk, an adviser at Zoom, said he was ‘confident’ demand would stay strong, adding that moves to assist hybrid working – in the office and at home – were being introduced in the UK.

The firm has teamed up with camera makers to introduce artificial intelligence to pick out faces in a meeting room.
This will soon allow users at home to see participants in the room in a ‘gallery view’, smoothing communication.
Falk said: ‘Hybrid working is here to stay. This allows you to level up a meeting between those in the room and at home.’
Zoom can also host virtual receptionists to direct guests to temperature checks as they enter an office. Tablets outside meeting rooms will show the capacity, occupancy and air quality inside to limit Covid transmission.
