THINK you’re a dab hand at the iPhone? There are some Safari tricks you might not know.

If you’re a regular iPhone user, you’ll want to master Safari – because it’s the default web browser on the device.

Thankfully, TikTok creator @mytechsocial101 has shared five tricks you’ll want to learn.

All of these tricks work inside Safari, and they’re easy enough to learn.

And they’re essential for any regular iPhone user.

The first trick is to open a private browser.

Tap on the bottom right-hand corner of Safari, on the square symbol.

Then choose New Private Tab.

This will open a tab that won’t record your activity in your Safari history.

Perfect if you’re gift shopping and have a partner that has access to your phone.

The second trick is to close all tabs on Safari in one go.

Tap the squares in the bottom right-hand corner again.

Now you can choose Close All Tabs to completely clear out your Safari tabs.

It’s worth doing regularly.

The third trick is an easy way to switch between tabs.

You don’t always have to go into your big tab menu.

Instead, simply swipe left or right along the URL bar at the bottom.

It’s much quicker, easier and more natural.

The fourth trick is how to close tabs.

There’s the obvious solution of tapping crosses on various tabs.

But you can also swipe them away, which is much faster if you’re trying to close a bunch of tabs at once.

The fifth trick is a quick way to copy text or photos from Safari.

First, highlight something you want to copy.

And then you can pinch with three fingers to copy the text or image.

A second pinch will turn the copy into a cut.

You can then spread the three fingers out to paste the text or photo somewhere else.

Some of these tricks may only work if you update your iPhone to the latest iOS version.

To do this, go into Settings > General > Software Update.
