And it’s especially a blow to parents with little ones.

Paramount+ has removed several titles, including Nickelodeon hits loved by kids.

Last week they were pulled from the US version and now they’re gone in the UK too.

“You have got to be kidding me,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“This was literally all we used Paramount+ for,” another wrote.

“Sickening Paramount would do this – especially writing off good show like BC&Y, Rugrats 2021 and Big Nate,” a third wrote.

The full list of shows that have disappeared include:

  • Blue’s Clues & You! (2019)
  • Big Nate (2022)
  • Are You Afraid of the Dark? (2019-2022)
  • It’s Pony (2020-2022)
  • Middlemost Post (2021-2022)
  • Ollie’s Pack (2020)
  • Ryan’s Mystery Playdate (2019-2023)
  • Santiago of the Seas (2020)

This is especially baffling to some as kids shows are thought to be among the most watched on the service, Deadline reports.

However, Disney+ has previously made a similar move with its own shows.

Paramount recently revealed that it had decided to “focus on content with mass global appeal”.

“As part of this, we are rationalizing original content on Paramount+, especially internationally, and improving the efficiency of our linear network programming,” parent Paramount Global said in its recently earnings call.

“As a result, we have reviewed our expansive global content portfolio and are removing select content from our platforms.”

It’s not the first time Paramount has removed shows from the platform.

Back in February, The Burning Girls, the Quantum Leap reboot, The Killing Kind and Accused were among a list of titles to go.

The firm also pulled Star Trek: Prodigy – though it appears on Netflix instead, which may be what Paramount intends to do with some of their recent culled content.
