Beer giant Brewdog has announced a partnership with Tesco Clubcard, allowing shoppers to use points for pints in its bars across Britain.
The Scottish brewery joins Chef and Brewer and Hungry Horse pubs in offering Clubcard members deals, but Brewdog is the only one to offer pints in exchange for points.
Every 50p worth of vouchers can be turned into £1 to spend at Brewdog bars, meaning you can grab a drink for 300 Clubcard points.
Every little helps: Clubcard members can use their points in exchange for beers in Brewdog bars
Customers can top-up the price difference with another payment method, meaning Clubcard members could enjoy a 50 per cent reduction on pints with 150 points.
The reward codes can be used for a maximum of two alcoholic drinks – excluding beer towers – and crucially, only when purchased with food.
If you order three drinks with your meal, you would need to pay for one of the drinks. Codes can also be used on all non-alcoholic drinks with no limit.
The value of the codes can only be redeemed on food and drink, so customers won’t be able to buy any Brewdog merchandise, gift cards, in-bar experiences, or hotel stays with their Clubcard points.
They also cannot be used in conjunction with any Brewdog offers or discounts and can only be eligible for in-bar dining.
Brewdog founder James Watt said: ‘With an existing customer base of over 21 million active Clubcard members, we’re delighted to be the only restaurant partner to offer pints in return for points.
‘Everyone is feeling the cost-of-living squeeze, so if we can help people with the cost of our beer where possible, you can bet your pint on it that we will.’
Reward codes can be used across all Brewdog bars other than in Edinburgh Airport, Hull, Huddersfield, Bradford and Upminster.
Customers will not be able to use Clubcard points between 13-31 December and in Edinburgh during Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
