XBOX has announced a number of new limited-edition console designs in the past month.

First, there was the delicious-looking Wonka console complete with an edible chocolate controller, then there was the kid-friendly Bluey console.

There were sweepstakes posted with both of these consoles, letting you know how to grab one of these rare special editions.

However, the latest tease of social media doesn’t come with a giveaway, and yet there seems to be no legitimate way to grab one.

The new controller was shared via the official Xbox Canada Twitter account and is based on a Canadian favourite.

Canada is known for its love of the Tim Hortons chain, and one of the most popular drinks there is the double double.

This is a coffee with double cream and double sugar, giving it a delicious creamy beige appearance.

The double double controller is this creamy coffee shade, with white-on-black buttons and bumpers.

There is no controller like this currently available, with the closest being one that you can design yourself in the Xbox Design Lab.

Here you can create a custom controller, but the closest colour to the coffee cream is the darker Desert Tan.

It’s clear from the post that at least one of these controllers was made, but there is no sweepstake or giveaway associated with the post.

Xbox fans – and Canadian fans in particular – hope that the double double Xbox controller will see a release, even if it’s a limited-edition launch.

For now, it seems that the double double will not be available to the general public, no matter how much we wish it was.

Responses from GameStop have had some speculating that it could come to the retailer soon.
