But it still gives you access to next-gen games, and supports the brilliant Xbox Game Pass – a subscription service with top-tier titles.

It’s a new model, having only launched in late 2020.

And it’s potentially a great time to buy one, beating the rush of autumn buyers looking to bag one for Christmas.

The Xbox Series S launched alongside its sibling console – the Series X – last November.

Both devices have remained largely sold-out for the past year, though the Series S has certainly been easier to come by.

But the console is now available at R.R.P on Amazon.

Don’t be put off by the fact that the Series S is less powerful than the Series X either.

It’s partly cheaper because it’s an all-digital machine with no disc tray, keeping costs down.

But it’s still capable of playing next-gen games with stunning graphics – albeit at a lower resolution.

And it looks attractive enough too.
