XBOX Game Pass is one of the best deals available for gamers, offering hundreds of games for a small price each month.

Yet no matter how many games there are, we always want to play the best new releases on our PCs and consoles.

We all want to know what games we’ll be able to play that were released this year.

So take a look at the best games that came out on Xbox Game Pass in 2022.

Persona 5 Royal

Nominated for Game of the Year at the Game Awards, Persona 5 Royal is one of the best games that came to Game Pass this year.

Half high school simulator, half dungeon crawler, you play as the Joker and his band of misfits in the vigilante-themed RPG.

Take on the streets of Tokyo, while Persona prepares to steal your heart this October.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the follow-up to Innocence and an upgrade in terms of both graphics and narrative style.

The two siblings are now in Southern France. However, Hugo’s curse has awakened once more.

Will they be able to fix it once and for all with a secret apparently hidden on a mysterious island?

Slime Rancher 2

The slimes from the original Slime Rancher were so delightfully happy that you couldn’t help but want to collect them all.

The sequel delivered on its promise of bringing so much more.

More Rainbow Island, more adventures, and of course more slimes to wrangle.

Scorn

Scorn released an alpha build back in 2016, and we’ve been trembling thinking about it ever since.

An H.R. Giger-inspired nightmare scape, it looked like we might not see Scorn after its difficult development cycle.

While reviews have been mixed, if you love horror, and don’t mind how tactical combat is, then Scorn is for you.

Signalis

This is not only an accomplished survival horror game, but includes psychological horror elements too.

The sci-fi pixel art style gives it a unique look, where not everything is quite what it seems.

Signalis is a game where the less you know, the more you will get out of it.

Two Point Campus

Two Point Hospital gave us all we wanted from a hospital management game, and Two Point Campus kept up the winning streak.

Set on a University campus, rather than a hospital, you can create the educational facility of your dreams.

It has built on the issues of the original game, and provided players with an even better management experience.

Tunic

One of this year’s indie darlings, Tunic stole the hearts of players with its cute fox and surprisingly tricky puzzles.

As you progress through Tunic, you discover more of the game’s mechanics that were there all along.

A mix of combat and exploration, you’ll need your thinking cap on to get the most out of this one.
