The New York Times claims that Croskrey and Kupp first connected during a track meet when they were adolescents. Kupp remembers asking for her phone number while pretending to tie his shoe as she passed by. “I was convinced I was going to marry her then,” he told the Times.
And in 2015, soon after completing their second year at Eastern Washington University, they got married. Kupp said that he has been questioned frequently about how it was to be married while still in college during an interview with Sports Illustrated. Anna has been a mainstay on the sidelines since Cooper’s college football days, cheering him on at games, watching film with him off the field and even leaving game-day cookies in his and his teammates’ lockers. When the Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022, Anna and their sons were on the field as the confetti fell.
“Tears flowing, heart racing, kind of happiness. Champions of the world!” Anna wrote on Instagram following the win.
Since Cooper’s collegiate football days, Anna has been a constant on the sidelines, encouraging him during games, studying video with him off the field, and even placing game-day cookies in the lockers of his teammates. Anna and their boys were present on the field in 2022 as the confetti dropped after the Rams won the Super Bowl.

Anna admires her championship-winning husband’s ability to juggle parenting and football, and she is proud of him.

Croskrey’s an athlete as well
Craig Kupp, a former NFL quarterback, is the father of Kupp. The 1990 New York Giants drafted his father in the fifth round. He also participated for the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals. Jake Kupp, the wide receiver’s grandpa, also participated in league play. The Cowboys picked him in the ninth round of the 1964 draft. Up to 1975, he was a guard for the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints. He was a member of the Saints’ 25-year All-Time Team, the NFL All-Rookie franchise, and was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 1991.
The bride of Kupp is also an athlete. Croskrey participated in track and field teams during his time in high school and college. She also coached young athletes in track.

Their first son, Cooper Jameson Kupp Jr., who is nicknamed June as in Junior, was born in July 2018.
