‘We had nothing to do with it,’ says Washington spokesperson, accusing Kremlin counterpart of lying, ‘pure and simple’
The White House dismissed as “ludicrous” claims by Russia that Washington orchestrated drone strikes on Moscow, saying the US was not involved in the attack and accusing Russia of lying.
“I can assure you that there was no involvement by the United States. Whatever it was, it didn’t involve us,” the US national security council spokesperson, John Kirby, told MSNBC when asked about comments made by the Kremlin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, in which he accused Washington of ordering Wednesday’s strike.
