App sleuths have uncovered a host of major changes that are expected to arrive on phones this year.
WhatsApp regularly adds new features to the app.

The code-scanners have revealed a host of changes currently in development or testing at WhatsApp.

Sharing links in a WhatsApp status will generate a “rich preview”, rather than looking just like a URL.
WhatsApp is developing a feature that lets you view a list of past participants for a group.
And the app is working to end support for iOS 10 and iOS 11, which means owners of old iPhones will need to update or upgrade.

How to get WhatsApp beta
To download WhatsApp beta for your smartphone you need to go to Google Play on your Android and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.
Tap the “I’m In” button and then click “Join” to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.
Joining the WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult, and has limited capacity.
