‘What happened to these’ sob shoppers over discontinued Cadbury Easter treats that were ‘the best’

SHOPPERS have been left heartbroken after realising an iconic Cadbury Easter treat will not be on shop shelves again. 

The Cadbury Caramel bunnies used to make an appearance this time of year, but they’re now a memory of the past.

The chocolates were made with smooth milk chocolate formed in the shape of an adorable bunny and filled with soft caramel.

They usually came in packs of two and held 40g of chocolate.

The Caramel bunny served as the mascot of Cadbury’s Caramel in the 1980s and 1990s.

She could be identified by her pink neck bow and long eyelashes, the character was voiced by Mirian Magolyes in commercials.

Fans took to the Food Finds UK group on Facebook to ask if the chocolate bunnies had been spotted anywhere recently. 

One user asked: “Does anyone know if you can still get these, what happened to them??”

Another said: “These are the best ever.”

“Yum yum,” said someone else. 

A fourth user said: “Omg I remember going to Cadbury World and seeing that bunny years ago.”

The bunnies are nowhere to be found online, and Cadbury is yet to confirm when they were discontinued.

Home Bargains was the last place to stock the treats selling a case of 48 two-packs of the caramel bunnies but they are now listed as out of stock.

In the meantime, shoppers missing the beloved character can pick up Cadbury caramel chocolate bars instead.

These are on sale in all the major supermarkets, starting at £1.35 for a 120g bar at Tesco.

Cadbury fans have had to say goodbye to quite a few favourites recently.

The chocolatiers recently announced the Cadbury Dairy Milk Toffee Popcorn bar won’t be coming back.

And although there are plenty of places you can get Mini eggs the 38g Mini Egg Carton will not be returning the Easter.

Where can you buy discontinued chocolate bars?

Here’s where you can pick up the Breakaway, Caramac, Milky Way Crispy Rolls and Yorkie biscuit bars.

Breakaway bars are still going for packs of eight in some stores, check out:

Caramac bars will be tough to find as they go viral as soon as they are spotted, try:

Yorkie biscuit bars are still stocked in quite a few supermarkets, check out:

Fan favourite Milky Way Crispy Rolls have been spotted in stores despite being discontinued back in 2022. Head to:
