WENDY’S has revealed its full UK menu ahead of its first restaurant opening in Britain – and it includes classics such as Dave’s Single.

The fast food chain is opening its first UK branch in Reading on June 2, to be followed with others in Oxford and Stratford later on.

The Dave’s Single burger is made with fresh beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, onion and comes served in a toasted bun.

Other menu classics that will be available include the Baconator and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

The latter is made with a chicken breast marinated and breaded in a fiery blend of peppers and spices, and served with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

We’ve listed all menu options below – but Wendy’s told The Sun it won’t reveal the prices until Wednesday.

Customers can wash it all down with a Frosty shake, which comes in chocolate and vanilla.

The Veggie stack is similar to Wendy’s meaty burgers in that it’s served in a square, but it’s made from grains, veggies and spices.

Like other chains, Wendy’s will also serve a breakfast menu, which will run until 10:30am.

Early birds can get items such as Croissant Sandwiches, the Breakfast Baconator, and a variety of hot drinks, such as Cappuccinos and Lattes.

The chain will allow customers to order via mobile before they set foot in the restaurant, at a kiosk once they arrive or at a traditional front counter.

Paul Hilder, senior vice president and UK & Canada managing director, said: “We can’t wait for the British public to try our menu when the doors open to our Reading restaurant on 2nd June.

“The signature Wendy’s items that fans know and love are there, but you will also see a few new additions just for our British customers.

“With Wendy’s you can guarantee you’ll get freshly prepared, high quality ingredients in everything we serve.”

Wendy’s is the third largest burger chain in the world after McDonald’s and Burger King, and already has 6,700 outlets in 30 countries worldwide.

This isn’t the first time Wendy’s has tried to cross the pond – it first came to the UK in the 1980s and 1990s, but then decided to close all its UK stores in 1999.

Wendy’s plans to open up to 400 fast food outlets across the UK over the coming years, creating around 12,000 new jobs.

Wendy’s first gave a sneak peek of what the restaurant will look like in March along with a hint of what the menu will look like too.

The firm has already agreed a delivery deal with Uber Eats – and plans to use its British outlets as a springboard to expand across Europe.
