ONE of the UK’s best places to live, where houses sell in days, has been revealed.
The town has been ranked one of the best in the UK in terms of buying and selling property.
Homes in Hall Green, near Birmingham, go for an average of £291,956 and sellers can find a buyer in just 26 days.
Locals told Birmingham Live just what makes it so special.
The top town has been praised by locals because “people care about each other”.
Alison Sherwood, who has lived there since the ’90s said it was a “friendly area with good shops and lovely schools”.
She continued: “I think it’s got a village feel. People care about each other.”
Peter Scott, the owner of a bike shop in Hall Green said it was a sweet spot between expensive city houses and countryside.
But most people had the same concern.
“We have a few boy racers but otherwise people are pretty friendly”, a local said.

Grandad Nick Parry said he loved living there, but the road running through the village could become a race track at night.
He said: “You get boy racers of a night time which we didn’t used to get. There are kids on bikes and motorbikes.”
But in a quiet village where litter picking groups keep the area clean and tidy and shops catering for everyone, the reviews remain positive.
Nick even joked: “We’re not planning on moving again. The next time I move I’ll probably be in a box”.
Rightmove’s property expert Tim Bannister said: “The market is still moving more quickly than before the pandemic started.
“This latest data reflects current buyer behaviours, with more buyers returning to cities and within commuting distance of an office and the speed of the market easing near the coast, which had seen some of the most frantic levels of activity during the pandemic.”
