POKÉMON Go players have been complaining about issues with Niantic’s latest game.
Peridot is the newest game by developer Niantic, where you can raise a Tamagotchi-like creature known as a Dot.
While this is a cool idea, technical issues have turned many away from the game.
It suffers from severe lag, meaning that it mostly displays less than 10fps.
There are also issues with the app overheating people’s phones, and draining their battery life.
Many Niantic fans were interested in trying out its newest game, it seems that it will be a while before it’s playable.
As such a number of players have uninstalled the app and might reinstall if performance improves.
However, people who play both Peridot and Pokémon Go, are noticing one serious issue.
If you delete your Peridot account, it also deletes your Pokémon Go account, as the two are linked.
This can be devastating for some who have spent a long time collecting their Pokémon.

Players have been taking to Twitter to complain about the issue.
However, it seems that Niantic is already aware of the problem and is able to restore players’ accounts.
If you are experiencing the same issue, you can contact Niantic Support which will help resolve the issue.
The best way to deal with the issue is to not delete your Peridot account until the problem is solved.
You can still uninstall the app without deleting your account.
This means that the data will no longer be saved on your phone, but your account will remain active.
Currently, this is the best way to protect your Pokémon Go account until the issue is resolved.
