Apple has said one of the bugs may already be under attack on iPad and iPhone.

It could allow a cyber criminal to exploit the “IOMobileFrameBuffer” and take over your device.

The tech giant said it was aware of “a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.”

However, it hasn’t revealed much else about the security flaw.

This is because it doesn’t want hackers to try and exploit it before everyone has had the chance to update.

Apple said: “For our customers’ protection, Apple doesn’t disclose, discuss, or confirm security issues until an investigation has occurred and patches or releases are available.”

iPad users are also being told to update to iPadOS 15.0.2.

The update is avaliable for: “iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation)”.

Here’s how to update to iOS 15.0.2

If you have a compatible device and your iPhone hasn’t automatically updated then you can follow a few simple steps.

Make sure your iPhone is backed up and that you’re connected to WiFi.

Then open Settings, click “General” and then “Software Update”.

The update may appear on the screen if it’s ready for your phone and you can click “Install Now” and accept the Terms and Conditions.
