The National Lottery is hunting for three winners who scooped massive jackpots but are yet to claim their big wins.

So far, the only information they can release is that the Euromillions winners bought their winning tickets online and have advised three ways they can claim the mammoth pot of cash that could change their lives.

Anyone who bought a ticket for the special EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw on Friday 12 January, 2024, is being told to check their emails, Lotto accounts, or call National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said,  “Imagine being a millionaire and not even knowing it.

“It’s only been just under a week since the special draw, but we’re urging all EuroMillions players to log into their National Lottery account to see if they are one of our missing three winners.

“Why wait to be a millionaire when I could be on my way to meet you tomorrow with your £1M!” 

Thankfully if you discover that less than a week ago you bought a £1million ticket and had no idea you won – all National Lottery draw winners have 180 days to claim their winnings.

Winning tickets almost going to waste is more common than you might think, and the National Lottery often sends out reminders to punters when a prize has been won but gone unclaimed.

This lucky office worker had no idea she had been carrying around a Lotto ticket worth £21million for a whole week.

Then 48-year-old Donna and husband David Stickley, 58, had routinely bought a ticket every Friday night on their way to the pub.

And luck on their side in 2018, as they netted enough dosh to never have to work again.

Another winner only realised he won a jaw-dropping £600,000 because a dodgy dinner kept him up at night.

As he lay tossing and turning in bed trying to fend off a bout of food poisoning he checked his Lotto numbers out of boredom to discover his life had changed forever.

He said: “A dodgy carbonara had me feeling very unwell and unable to sleep all night, so just after midnight I gave up on sleep and decided to check my entry.

After realising what he had banked, he jokingly said: “Well, I felt better immediately.”
