XBOX Game Pass is best known for having new games coming to the subscription service as soon as they are released.
However, PlayStation appears to be stepping up its game, after refusing to add new games in the past.

Stray was an indie hit of 2022 and was available on day one with PS Plus, but this is the exception rather than the rule.
That’s why we were pleasantly surprised when we found out that Foamstars would be available on PS Plus as soon as it is released.
Not only that, but it’s going to be released much sooner than anyone was expecting.
Foamstars will launch on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, and it’s coming to all tiers of PS Plus, including Essential, on that date.

It is available for both PS4 and PS5 but players will only have a month in order to grab it.
The upcoming multiplayer foamy shooter will be available on PS Plus until Monday, March 4, 2024; after that, it will be removed from the service.
However, if you redeem it within this month, it will remain in your library as long as you are a subscriber.
If you aren’t subscribed, you will still be able to purchase it separately for $29.99 (approx. £24.99).

Square Enix is planning free seasonal content for the game, and will offer a Season Pass which has to be purchased separately.
Most modes will require an online subscription in order to play, such as Smash the Star, Happy Bath Survival, and Rubber Duck Party.
However, there are also single-player and team-based missions, where players combat waves of enemies.
