Marketa Vondrousova defeated Ons Jabeur in straight sets to become the first unseeded player to win the Wimbledon women’s single title.

The Czech player lost her first two service games but rallied to take the first set against Jebeur, who has lost the Wimbledon final two years in a row, eventually taking the match 6-4, 6-4.
