A UNIQUE home has been put on the market for £360,000 but the sellers came about the property in a very unusual way.
The five bedroom semi detached property in Killingworth, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne was gifted to Petra and Simon Williams during an episode of a popular TV show.
After learning the family relied on Simon’s overtime as Petra worked for her charity for free, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway gifted the couple with the home, valued at £260,000.
The Bellway Home’s property, known as “The house that Ant and Dec built”, was initially a three-bedroom property but the current owners extended it upwards into a three-storey home.
Interior images show the family home filled with plush soft furnishings in the living room and decorated with images of the couple’s four children.
The majority of the home has been decorated in pink and grey colours, while the home is shown to be well lived in by the family.
The kitchen is decorated with cream and grey colours and a herringbone floor pattern while autumnal flowers adorn the table.
On the front door of the property is a mock blue plaque which reads “The House That Ant and Dec. Built 2019-2020″.
The plaques are usually given out by the English Heritage Scheme to mark where someone of note was born or lived.
The couple had the interiors decked out by Q Interiors who were helped by Petra’s best friend Nikki Pinchen.
The home also comes with a garden and patio furniture as well as being advertised as having a built-in bar and a garage.
Estate agent Pattinson listed the property for sale on Friday (16 SEP) for offers over £360,000.
The listing read: “This home is a credit to the current owners and has been extended to the back and upwards.
This home is a one off and is known as ‘The house that Ant and Dec built.”

The property comprises – a lounge, kitchen/dining room, utility room and W.C to the ground floor.
“To the first floor is three bedrooms, an en-suite and a family bathroom.
“To the second floor is two more bedrooms and a W.C.
“A large enclosed garden to the rear with a built-in bar, a garage and private parking and a beautiful well maintained garden to the front,” the advertisement continued.
Petra and Simon were left speechless when they were plucked from the audience at Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
They had thought they were in London to record a documentary about charities when they were invited to join the audience of the series.

Their charity, Darcey’s Dream, is named after their daughter Darcey-Leigh who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2017.
