Met Office says central and eastern areas at risk as downpours cause travel disruption in London

There are warnings of potential flooding in central and eastern parts of England after downpours caused transport disruption in London.

As vehicles struggled through flood water on Tower Bridge in the capital, the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning that heavy rainfall could hit transport and cause other problems across swathes of England on Tuesday.
