Scotland, Northern Ireland and most of north of England affected by yellow weather warning

Drivers are being urged to take care on the roads as a yellow weather warning for ice covered large areas of the UK.

The Met Office issued the alert for Scotland, Northern Ireland and most of the north of England, and also warned pedestrians of the risk of slips on icy pavements.
