Sky: Children of Light finally launched into Early Access for PC and it’s absolutely free to play on Steam.

The wholesome game was first released for Apple’s iOS devices five years ago to critical acclaim, and was named iPhone’s best game for 2019.

In Sky, you traverse a magical kingdom made up of seven distinct realms using a cape that lets you fly.

The game focuses on social aspects, allowing you to meet and befriend other players along your journey.

Sky is a free-to-play game and it launched via Steam on April 10, 2024, so you can finally experience it on PC.

What’s more, to celebrate Sky’s launch, developer Thatgamecompany is slashing the prices of its other two acclaimed games.

Flower is an award-winning where you control the wind, exploring a lush beautiful world from the point of view of a flower petal.

The game is rated 87 on review aggregator Metacritic, with a 9/10 score on Steam, praised for its emotional atmosphere achieved through visuals, music and gameplay.

Usually priced at £5.89 / $6.99, you can get Flower for just £1.50 / $1.88 on Steam, saving 75%.

Journey is another game from the same creators, and arguably Thatgamecompany’s best and most popular title.

In it you explore a mysterious world as a robed character who can glide across the sandy ruin-filled environments, uncovering secrets in the process.

On your journey, you will meet other players and can continue together helping each other along the way.

It’s an unusual but clever co-op game in which you can only communicate through movement and the chirping sound your character makes.

Rated 92 on Metacritic, Journey is one of the best games of all time, earning praise for its visual style and sound, and the beautiful social experience of cooperating with a stranger.

Journey also allows you to keep playing solo, with single-player and co-op feeling very different and adding to the game’s replay value.

Journey usually costs £12.49 / $14.99, but now you can buy it for just £1.79  / $2.24, a whopping 85% off.
