Ex-president’s valet Walt Nauta arraigned in federal district court in Miami on charges including conspiracy to obstruct justice
Donald Trump’s valet and co-defendant in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case pleaded not guilty at his rescheduled arraignment on Thursday after retaining a defense lawyer admitted in the southern district of Florida the night before his appearance, according to a person close to the matter.
The valet, Walt Nauta – indicted on charges including conspiracy to obstruct justice – appeared in federal district court in Miami alongside his Florida lawyer, Sasha Dadan, and his longtime defense lawyer, Stanley Woodward, the person said.
